Chattering collects no personal data. No accounts, no sign-in, no advertising or analytics SDKs, and the app does not declare the internet permission at all. 채터링은 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 계정도 로그인도 없고, 광고·분석·추적 도구가 없으며, 앱에 인터넷 권한이 아예 없습니다.

1. Personal data we collect

None. Chattering does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, advertising identifiers, or any other personal data.

2. Where your content lives

Events, anniversaries, notes and settings you create are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes them, except where the backup described in section 4 is enabled.

3. Permissions the app requests

  • Read only. The app does not declare WRITE_CALENDAR, so it cannot create, modify or delete anything in your calendars.
  • What is read is used only to draw the screen. It is not stored separately and is never transmitted.
  • You choose which calendars are shown, in the app's settings.
  • Declining is fine — only this feature is disabled.
Notifications
POST_NOTIFICATIONS		To show the reminders and the daily summary you set up.
Exact alarms
USE_EXACT_ALARM
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM		So reminders fire at the time you chose. This is a permitted use for calendar and alarm apps.
Boot completed
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED		To re-schedule your reminders after the device restarts; otherwise they would silently disappear.
Vibrate
VIBRATE		A short vibration on long-press.

That is the complete list. The app does not request location, contacts, photos, microphone or storage permissions.

4. Android Auto Backup

Chattering leaves Android's Auto Backup enabled. If backup is turned on in your device settings, your events and anniversaries and your app settings (including your memo text) are backed up to your own Google account.

This backup is performed and stored by Google and is governed by Google's privacy policy. The developer has no access to it. It is restored automatically if you reinstall the app. To turn it off, go to device Settings → Google → Backup (there is no switch for this inside the app).

5. Exporting your data

Settings › Manage › Data › Export to file writes your events, anniversaries, notes and settings to a single file. You choose where it is saved and the file is entirely yours; the app never transmits it anywhere. Note: that file contains your memo text in plain text.

6. The memo lock

You can protect the memo screen with a 4–6 digit code. The code itself is not stored — only a salted hash is kept on the device, and the code cannot be recovered from it (not even by the developer). That is why the only recovery path is to erase all memo text and clear the lock.

This lock is not encryption. It only blocks opening the memo screen on that device; the memo text is still included in the backup (section 4) and in the export file (section 5).

7. Sharing with third parties

None. Since no data is collected, none is shared with or processed by third parties. The Auto Backup described in section 4 goes to your own Google account and does not pass through the developer.

8. Retention, deletion and your rights

The developer holds no data about you, so there is nothing to retain or delete and no one to send an access, correction or deletion request to. All data lives on your device; you can edit or delete it inside the app, and uninstalling the app removes it.

9. Children's privacy

Chattering collects no personal data from anyone, regardless of age.

If this policy changes, this page and the Last updated date above will be revised.

1. 수집하는 개인정보

없습니다. 채터링은 이름·이메일·전화번호·위치·광고 식별자 등 어떤 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다.

2. 앱이 만드는 자료는 어디에 있나

이용자가 적은 일정·기념일·메모와 앱 설정은 이용자 기기 안에만 저장됩니다. 앱을 삭제하면 함께 지워집니다(아래 4의 백업이 켜져 있는 경우는 예외).

3. 앱이 요청하는 권한

(민감 권한)		 기기에 이미 있는 캘린더(공휴일 등)를 달력 화면에 겹쳐 보여 주기 위해서만 씁니다.
  • 읽기만 합니다. 쓰기 권한(WRITE_CALENDAR)이 없으므로 이용자의 캘린더를 만들거나 고치거나 지울 수 없습니다.
  • 읽은 내용은 화면에 그리는 데만 쓰이며, 따로 저장하거나 어디로도 보내지 않습니다.
  • 어느 캘린더를 볼지는 이용자가 설정에서 직접 고릅니다.
  • 거부해도 앱은 그대로 동작합니다 — 이 기능만 꺼집니다.
알림
POST_NOTIFICATIONS		이용자가 건 일정 알람과 하루 알람을 알림으로 띄우기 위해서.
정확한 알람

SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM		알람을 정해진 그 시각에 울리기 위해서. 달력·알람 앱에 허용된 용도입니다.

위 다섯 가지가 전부입니다. 위치·연락처·사진·마이크·저장소 권한은 요청하지 않습니다.

4. 안드로이드 자동 백업

채터링은 안드로이드의 자동 백업 기능을 켜 둡니다. 이용자의 기기에서 백업이 켜져 있으면 일정·기념일과 앱 설정(메모 글 포함)이 이용자 본인의 구글 계정으로 백업됩니다.

이 백업은 구글이 수행하고 구글이 보관하며 구글의 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다. 개발자는 이 백업에 접근할 수 없습니다. 앱을 다시 설치하면 자동으로 복원됩니다. 끄시려면 기기 설정 → Google → 백업에서 끄십시오(앱 안에는 이 백업을 끄는 스위치가 없습니다).

5. 자료 내보내기

설정 › 관리 › 자료 › 파일로 내보내기를 쓰면 일정·기념일·메모·설정이 파일 한 장으로 저장됩니다. 저장 위치는 이용자가 직접 고르고 그 파일은 전적으로 이용자의 것입니다. 앱은 그 파일을 어디로도 보내지 않습니다. 주의: 그 파일에는 메모 글이 평문으로 들어갑니다.

6. 메모 잠금

메모 화면에 4~6자리 숫자 암호를 걸 수 있습니다. 친 암호는 그대로 저장되지 않고 무작위 값을 섞은 해시만 기기에 저장되며, 저장된 값에서 암호를 되돌릴 방법은 없습니다(개발자도 못 합니다). 그래서 잊었을 때는 메모를 전부 지우고 푸는 길만 있습니다.

이 잠금은 암호화가 아닙니다. 그 기기에서 메모 화면을 여는 길을 막을 뿐이며, 위 4의 백업과 5의 내보내기 파일에는 메모 글이 그대로 담깁니다.

7. 제3자 제공 · 위탁

없습니다. 수집하는 정보가 없으므로 제3자에게 제공하거나 처리를 위탁하는 일도 없습니다. 위 4의 자동 백업은 이용자 본인의 구글 계정으로 가는 것이며 개발자를 거치지 않습니다.

8. 보유 기간 · 파기 · 이용자의 권리

개발자가 보유하는 이용자 정보가 없으므로 파기할 것도, 열람·정정·삭제를 요청하실 대상도 없습니다. 기기 안의 자료는 이용자가 앱 안에서 직접 고치고 지우실 수 있고, 앱을 삭제하면 함께 지워집니다.

9. 아동의 개인정보

채터링은 나이와 관계없이 누구의 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다.

10. 방침의 변경

이 방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지의 내용과 위의 최종 수정일을 갱신합니다.
